The "System Theory" split tape brings out techno based on two different theoretic frameworks. Martin and I had both previously released tapes on the English label Still Heat Recordings. He came forth with an idea for a joint tape and I had this concept from my press/graphics degree - I present tracks related to color theory, by expressing a range of bare colors and clinically mirroring their psychological moods by means of purely synthesized timbre. Martin worked around "numbers", based on mathematics of polyrhythms.

This tape is all about techno - straight, raw, bold - nonetheless it's for the mind, not just the feet. The tracks are implicitly about order and/or disorder, be it either by themselves or through blending and shifting order to disorder. In Martin's words, theoretic systems are dynamic, fluent and must adapt to certain outer circumstances. All this happens in order to survive the passing of time and the development of the object of observation/theoretic system.

But don't think too much while listening. Rather enjoy.
